Regular “Scrim” banner material has a textured look to it. The texture is created by fibres embedded in the vinyl that make it stronger to withstand tugging. Premium All Flat Vinyl doesn’t have a scrim and has a clean flat face. The latter is used most commonly with trade show displays or applications that require a more aesthetic look.
All scrim banners come with the edges hemmed, and with grommets along the top edge and bottom corners. All Flat vinyl banners are not hemmed. They do have grommets though.
* Note that it is not recommended to use Premium All-Flat vinyl if your purpose is to use it outdoors where wind or tugging will be an issue. The “scrim” that is in our regular vinyl is made of fibers that add strength, and help withstand the tugging and pulling caused by wind.
Printed banners cannot be manipulated once they are finished, but do allow for a great range in design ie. photographic images and unlimited colours.
